Brandon Williams
Hello, my name is Brandon Willliams. I worked at Gobbler’s Knob last summer so many of you might recognize me I have been a lifeguard for 3 years and I am a certified EMT. I obtained my swim instructor certification at the YMCA in 2024 and have had the opportunity to teach over 50 kids how to swim safely. I really love seeing the progress each child makes. Watching them build confidence and excel in the water is incredibly rewarding for me.

Julia Reese Davis
Hi, my name is Julia Reese, I am newly certified swim instructor from the YMCA. I love teaching swim lessons weekly it allows me to really connect with the kids and help them achieve a major skill. I serve a lot with the preschool/nursey kids at my church, and I enjoy being a role model for them. Teaching swim lessons has taught me to be kind and disciplined, helpful and of course always have fun. I am also willing to focus on your child’s specific needs and do my best to help each child reach their goal and become a great swimmer.

Carlynn Wilkes
Hi, My name is Carlynn Wilkes. I’m an upcoming senior at Helena High School. This will be my third year working at Gobbler’s Knob, and I’ve been a member since I was just three years old! I have a lot of experience working with kids through my church, babysitting and being a lifeguard. I enjoy being around children and helping them learn new things. What I love most about teaching swim lessons is watching new swimmers become confident in their abilities to swim.

Avery Cantley
Hello! My name is Avery, and I’m a senior in high school. I am also a part of the Helena varsity volleyball team. I’m excited to teach swim lessons at Gobbler’s Knob this summer while also working as a lifeguard. Gobbler’s Knob has been a special place to me for years because I took swim lessons here when I was a kid. Now, it’s rewarding to help the next generation of swimmers become more confident and comfortable in the water. I love working with kids and creating lessons that are fun and encouraging. My goal is to help swimmers build strong skills and confidence in themselves!
